Hello everyone,
I'm proud to say I've finally got a working mackintosh, and I'm very pleased with it. I had installed Mavericks using UniBeast, which I set up on my Macbook Pro.
I had more trouble than I'd like to admit, but it appears everything is working great now! I haven't done the MultiBeast setup yet, but I'm wondering if it's absolutely necessary. In the case of hardware, I tried getting a compatible board and a GPU that worked out of the box. (Gigabyte B75M-HD3 and Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770).
I'm leaning towards the philosophy of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it", but I'm not sure if any of these kexts are absolutely required/recommended.
Also, what's the deal with Windows on a second HDD? If I set the Mac SSD as primary, would I be able to hold "Option" and have it find other boot locations, or would this mess everything up?
Thanks in advance for your help!
