After doing the update (downloaded via apple.com), my audio was broken, so I ran MB and fixed my audio and TRIM, but the TP-Link WN881ND wifi was not working.

I installed a kext named IO80211Family.kext that i found on osx68.net. Now it was 'working', as in it could detect my home network, but any attempts to connect were met with an error.

I asked on the tony mac forums and was told I need to look for instructions on making an injector for my card, and shouldn't use a modded system kext for it. Can anyone tell me what this means, and how I can fix my wifi problem? For the moment, I have Time Machine'd back to yesterday's 10.9.1 drive. ]

Thanks
