Attached AMD6000Controller Kext and the AMDRadeonX3000.kext edited for ATI Radeon HD 6790 working on Mavericks 10.9.2. Full 1080, QI?CI? blah blah working
Use Kext Wizard to Load the kext but please make sure to rebuild your permissions or it will not work. (tried n tested)
Explanation:-
although you add the Device id to the info.plist in http://ift.tt/NGskFA, you might get resolution but not QICE (full effect) The reason is it needs to know which Accelerator to load i.e
AMDBonaireGraphicsAccelerator = AMD 7000 series ->>>AMDRadeonX4000.kext
AMDBartsGraphicsAccelerator = 6790 (Barts LE) ->>>> AMDRadeonX3000.kext
You can find mixed support between AMDRadeonX*.kext and add your device id to the relating accelerator in the IOMatch string 0x0673e1002.
