I tried setting up snow leopard 10.6.3 using iboot+multibeast. I was able to install it and log in to OSX, but after running multibeast and the 10.6.8 combo update I restarted and I can't run osx again. I get stuck on the gray screen with the apple logo.

I've tried booting with -x, -v, -s, npci=0x2000, npci=0x3000, cpus=1, graphicsenabler=no, PCIrootUID=0, nvda_drv=1, but none of them seem to work.

When I boot with -v I get the following:

MAC framework successfully initialized Using 16384 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers IOAPIC: Version 0x20 Vectors 64:87 ACPI: System State [SO S3 S4 S5] (S3) PFM64 0x7f10000000, 0xf0000000 [ PCI configuration begin ]
