Been running my Hackintosh for almost 2 years now, pretty much trouble free. Today I'm trying to upgrade from 10.8.2 to 10.9. I don't think I have had to access the UEFI on my motherboard since upgrading to 10.8 a year ago.
Upon startup, (before the boot/Chameleon screen comes up) holding the delete key does nothing. I have tried it with my wired USB keyboard (Apple brand keyboard) in every USB port (both USB2 and 3). I have also tried it with my Logitech wireless keyboard (which utilizes their USB dongle NOT bluetooth). Pressing any key on the Chameleon (v2.2svn r2170) screen will successfully take me to my boot options where I can select different OS/startup disks. For some reason it is not allowing me to access UEFI.
I was thinking of disconnecting all hard drives (internal and external), which I assume will force the board to boot into the UEFI. Good idea?
Any thoughts? Let me know if you need more system info than what is below. Thanks in advance, everyone!
