Since choosing to boot from USB my screen has been black with a single white underscore blinking in the top left hand corner. This hasn't changed in 30 minutes.
This is my first time building a hackintosh. I installed unibeast onto my USB from a VMware installation of mavericks running through windows. The installation process went smoothly but now I am seeing no progress when choosing to boot from USB.
I have tried placing the USB in different ports, it is currently in a USB 2.0 port on the motherboard. All hard drives except the installation destination have been physically disconnected as well as my pci wifi card. There is only one stick of ram currently installed in the system. I made sure to reset the UEFI settings to default.
System: GA-Z87M-D3H i5-4670k Gigabyte gtx 760 4gb Corsair Vengeance RAM (second stick uninstalled for the moment) 16gb Crucial Courier USB 3.0 32GB Crucial SSD
