Using multibeast, I installed the ALC 8889 audio driver, but that was incorrect. I then installed the ALC 8888 audio driver, which was the correct one and enabled audio. But now my audio will randomly distort at odd intervals. This was all after updating to 10.8.5. So how do I remove the ALC 8889 audio driver as i suspect it is causing the problem, as everything worked perfectly on 10.8.3
