I was trying to transfer some files via a USB 3 drive. If it's plugged in to a USB 3 port the machine freezes if it's already running, or kernel panics if it's plugged in on startup. But plugging it into usb 2 works fine. I know the USB 3 ports work, because I've used them before with usb 2 drives. It seems to be only USB 3 to USB 3 issue. I'd love to hear some thoughts. Thanks.
