Morning all,

This is my first post in this community, please excuse me if I haven't followed regulation. I did read the sidebar, but I'm a bit stuck with it all.

I'm facing a serious roadblock in getting started. Please allow me to tell you my set up and the files that I have.

My set up: Intel Core i5-3550 Ivy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 2500 BX80637I53550

ASUS P8B75-V LGA 1155 Intel B75 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)

EVGA 02G-P4-3660-KR GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

ASUS PCE-N15 PCI Express 300/300Mbps Transfer/Receive Rate Wireless Adapter

and I have the following files:

OS X Mavericks 10.9.2 bootable USB for Intel PCs - This is a 6.5GB .raw file titled "OS X 10.9.2 Install USB.raw"

OS X 10.9 Install DVD (Chameleon) = This is a 5.8GB .iso file titled "OS X 10.9 Install DVD.iso"

I'm presently on a Windows 8.1 system (fully updated to the latest April updates)

Now it is to my understanding that I put the .raw file onto a USB drive. I have a 32GB USB drive and when I use SUSE ImageWriter I am unable to get the software to work. I used another program to write the .raw file to the USB drive, but in the end it shows up as having a capacity of less than 200MB and then this is where I get stuck. I try to boot from the USB drive, but I just end up logging back into Windows.

Can I get someone to hold my hand during this?
