So, this is a machine I built a few months ago:
- Gigabyte GA-Z87MX-D3H
- Intel i5-4570
- 2x 8GB Corsair 1600Mhz
- Kingston 120Gb SSD + Corsair 240GB SSD + WD 1.5TB HDD
- EVGA Nvidia 6600 GTX SC
- etc…
Up until a few days ago, it was running 10.10 DP flawlessly. I installed it a few months ago with a Clover USB installer I built and everything was smooth (including OTA updates).
A few days ago, I decided to add the 2nd SSD and install Windows in it. I created a USB boot for Windows 7 and installed it just fine. Then, I re-created a OS X installer USB and the weirdest thing is happening: I can't get the computer to even show Clover/Chameleon!!! I choose to boot from the installer USB and the screen blanks and it immediately tries to boot from an HDD. I tried that same USB on my other hackintosh (X79) and it worked flawlessly… WTF RIGHT?! I tried 10.10 beta and 10.9 USB installers, using Clover, manually, DiskMakerX, MyHack, Unibeast… EVERYTHING! I can't figure out what's up and I'm not exactly a newb on Hackintoshes (it's my 4th one, and by far the most vanilla and simple of them all).
I've tried resetting the BIOS to defaults, I updated it to the latest version and reseted it again… I'm seriously at loss and I'd appreciate ANY help I can get!
Thank you in advance folks! <3
