My first time playing with a hackintosh.
- i5 3570k
- MSI Z77A-G43
- EVGA GTX 260
Windows is running on a completely separate drive. Installed on a plain old SATA 160 Gb HDD. Selecting boot drive via BIOS prompt.
- Installed using Unibeast.
- DSDT cleaned up using this guide. http://www.tonymacx86.com/dsdt/60096-guide-extract-fix-dsdt-msi-z77a-g43.html
- Installed Chimera via Multibeast.
Boot fails every time. Looks like a kernel panic screen but I can't really tell.
Booting using -x yields the same result. Booting using -v has no effect. Screen blinks up and is gone within a second followed by a reboot.
How would one troubleshoot this?
