Hi all,

Waiting to receive my hackintosh parts and wondering what is the best way to transfer my Mac book pro settings over to the hackintosh.

Should I do a fresh os install and then restore from a time machine backup once I have the base system working on the hackintosh? Or can I just plug the existing "Macintosh hd " and run unibeast?

What about my windows partition? Can I use CCC at all or will I have to reinstall from scratch? I will transplant my MBP's ssd to the hackintosh and the hackintosh will also have a 1tb hdd for storage if that makes any difference in the process.

MBP is currently running mavericks with 8gb ram like my soon to be hackintosh, only with an older core2duo, older mobo and older nVidia graphics.

Thanks for your input!
