Hi everyone,
I have been doing my research and looked over quite a bit on the tonymac86 page. I have had only apple computers for about 7-8 years and currently looking for an upgrade because my imac from 2007 is hardly compatible for basic computer use. I never built a computer before but I like the idea of having easy upgradability at a much cheaper price point compared to a brand new mac from the store.
With all the different components available I find myself in a sea of confusion with what I should choose to purchase. If anyone can help me out finding the best setup for around $500-$600 that would be awesome
My goal is to be able to dual boost osx/windows and use it for home use, but also I want to use my midi controller that I have had sitting around because my current computer is too old and slow. For the windows side I will use mostly for light gaming from steam as well.
I love osx and really would like to use that over windows, so exactly how difficult is it to make this possible for my first build ever?
