I'm using the myHack guide for installing Mavericks on my build.
So far;
I've setup the USB drive with the necessary files in the order/format the guide says.
Gone through my BIOS and done everything I could find on the list. Things I couldn't find to adjust were; "ensure you have enabled your CPU's C states", "ensure you have HPET set to 64bit", and ensuring I boot in legacy mode if I have a UEFI system, which I don't think I do.
where I get hung up
I boot into the USB drive and it shows the white/gray apple logo with the loading circle beneath it. It does this for a few minutes and then my monitor says "No Signal", but the computer is still running.
My build:
Z97X UD7-TH
4790k
ADATA SP600 256GB SSD
GTX 770 4GB
G Skill RipjawsX 1866 2x8 (one installed as per the guide)
What gives? I would greatly appreciate some insight on what I'm doing wrong.
