I own a Hackintosh running an intel i7 4770k, and Nvidia GTX 770 and and gigabyte Z87N-WiFi MoBo. I have OSX and Windows 7 installed on discrete SSDs.
As a mac my computer works perfectly well (except for the occasional unexplained freeze). As a windows machine my computer usually works fine. However, when I shut down OSX and load into windows, my peripherals including mouse and keyboard are unrecognized and non-responsive. This happens almost without fair and is especially weird given them both mouse and keyboard work fine in the bios.
When I manually power down the computer by holding down the power button, the problem is fixed. However, if I turn off the machine by pressing the power button and let it shut itself down, the problem persists on restarting into windows.
Does anyone else have this problem? Can anyone else explain it? I can see no reason why it should happen given that they are discrete operating systems running on different drives.
(For the record I switch operating systems in the bios because windows will not load directly from multibeast)
