Hey Everyone,
When I originally built my system about 4 years ago I recall going with pretty compatible hardware in case I wanted to turn it into a Hackintosh. I never went through with it but now that I am building a new gaming PC and instead of selling my old one I'd like to convert it.
Specs:
Intel Core i7-920
ASRock Extreme6
EVGA GTX 570
Patriot Inferno 120GB SSD
Antec 300 Case
I'm going to toss in some RAM and also a different PSU. I had 32GB and an SLI setup which is a overkill for this (and SLI won't work).
I have found a couple tutorials online but they are all over two years old now. Wondering if anything has changed or if new methods are being used on older hardware? Also, some of the tutorials seem to encounter issues that I am hoping are now ironed out. If anyone could point me in the direction of a known-good tutorial for this Motherboard that would be awesome.
