Guys, I am desperate and can't find any solutions to my problem. I updated my Hackintosh to Yosemite (via uni/multibeast) and can't get the sound to work at all. Someone over at tonymacx86 had suggested deleting the AppleHDA and installing the ALC892 afterwards which also did not work (not even with the kext-dev-mode=1 kernelflag). Neither did any of the optional HDAEnablers. I get no sound from any port and am too stupid for editing kext files (at least I can't get a hang of the tutorials I found.) Another guy manipulated an AppleHDA to enable his SPDIF some other way but this was based on Mavericks and it does not even install correctly under Yosemite (not really suprising :D ) I also tried the ALC898 which someone successfully last year in this subreddit, this only gave me kernelflags and crashed. Does someone have any other ideas that I might try? This is not a hardware problem since the whole shebang works flawlessly under win8.1 :( Please help me reddit, you are my only hope!
