I have now been working five days trying to get this computer to even get through the installer. I get as far as getting it installed, but there are now a bunch of new kexts I need to copy to make everything work right. I'm trying to copy them via command line but Terminal keeps complaining about the read only file system. Chmod doesn't work since it's a write action. How can I change the permissions of my system drive?
Alternately are there any suggestions as to how to get these kexts and drivers installed since I can't even boot my new install to do it in there?
