Hey guys. i've searched multiple forums and don't have an answer and users seem to be inactive on this topic.
Friend has an i5 4300u, i suppose the newer gen SP2, and we're trying to put Mavericks 10.9.4 on it. We've read the guide from insanelymac on how to set it up and everything and read it step by step as carefully as possible. We're setting up the USB correctly, copying files from the file the guide provides and everything, but when we boot it into clover, it always gives us errors beginning with "kxld", saying it cannot find a few kexts, etc. and eventually stops at Bluthooth Control. We've even followed the video step by step from MacSpike and did the exact same thing, but for some reason, cannot get into the installer. Has anyone had any experience or luck with OSX on the SP2? So far, i haven't read about any other options besides clover, but i doubt that's the problem. Maybe it's something along the preparation of the USB drive. i'm at an end and hoping someone with experience on the Surface could help me out.
Thanks!
EDIT: he has the newer gen Surface Pro 2: i5 1.9ghz 4300u. I already read about adding "dart=0" into the config.plist because of Microsoft's bump, but still no go.
