Finally took the plunge upgrade to 10.10.2 on my trusty Lifehacker build and upgraded by boot drive to a Crucial MX100 SSD using the Unibeast/Multibeast method. Normally I would use Carbon Copy Cloner to backup my boot drive and then test any updates on the clone. Can I use a regular HDD to backup the SSD? Will having TRIM enabled mess anything on the clone?
