I was just wondering if it'd be worth /r/Hackintosh creating a wiki that all users could look to for various tips and tricks. The reason I say this is because my build has required me to do some bits that I've had to search high and low on the net for, so to have a central location that we can also refer to would be great.
Just a couple of examples of tricky issues I've had:
The AppleIntelE1000e.kext (all versions, including the one still included in MultiBeast) floating around has a flag enabled which makes it somewhat unstable on some cards. It wasn't until I googled network issues with my particular ethernet adapter that I found the reason and solution.
My onboard audio would produce static. Eventually I found the VoodooHDA preference pane and the VoodooHDASettingsLoader app that allowed me to turn down the microphone input which was causing the issue.
I know there are plenty of other wikis online that cover Hackintosh but I think one that all users here could reference and make changes to would be a worthwhile addition.
