I have a (mostly) working Yosemite build going off of a Dell Inspiron 790 desktop. I have managed to convert to clover from chameleon and I'm able to boot into the machine. My problem is getting the ethernet card to recognize so I can get in to the appstore. The broadcom nic built in to the mobo does not currently have a kext that supports it. I knew intel nics worked fairly well so I bought a pro/1000 mt (0x100E) but I can not for the life of me get the machine to recognize it. I have tried the Apple1000E kext by having it in the EFI partition under the kexts/10.10 folder at boot as well as the dev-mode-kext flag set to 1. I used Kext Wizard, Clover Configurator, and simply copying it to the correct folders and repairing permissions/cache. I have also tried the Yosemite Multibeast installer as well as the NullEthernet kext. What am I missing to get the Intel card working? I don't even care if I can actually use the card; I only need it to show up in the network order so I can get on the appstore
