Hi guys, I'm currently using VMWare to run Yosemite (downloaded mavericks and upgraded) simply to run xcode for swift programming.
My current laptop is having issues and I am about to ship it off to SquareTrade so they can try to fix it or give me the funds to replace it.
With a very high possibility of replacement, I am in the process of backing up my essential files to upload to a new pc.
Now for the question. Is there a way for me to backup my workstation/OSX data so that when I install vmware on a new device it will run my "mac" as if nothing ever happened?
I have a secondary (very old) desktop pc I can test the results on before I risk shipping off the laptop without a proper backup.
Thanks for any help.
