hey all
This has happened with both clover and multibeast on two yosemite installs.
I'll sleep the pc, and it'll wake right back up within seconds. The screen will stay off but the fans will start up again.
The wake reason is XHC.
If I use GenericUSBXHCI.kext, -gux_defer_usb2, -gux_no_idle, USB Inject and Add ClockID.. it sleeps. It's not perfect, I have to wake from my power button, but it works. But if I do this, my external drives fail to show up. So I need a better solution.
Before you ask, my bios settings are good. No wol, xhci related settings are on auto, enabled/enabled, etc. I read a billion threads before I posted this and I'm stumped.
My build is:
- Gigabyte z97x-UD5H
- 4690k
- GTX 970 (sleep issue happens with nv driver and without. I don't think its this.)
- 8GB RAM
- 256GB SSD, 3x 2TB Internals, 1x 4TB External 3.0, 1x 2TB External 3.0
- Corsair K95 RGB Keyboard (3.0 only) and K65 RGB Mouse (2.0+)
I've tested without the external drives and the kb/mouse.. sleep issue persisted. It's not them.
Thanks for any help
