Hey folks, so lately I've noticed that in VLC, when I play back h.264 videos which would normally be decoded by the GPU via Apple's VDA API (Apple's equivalent to DXVA in Windows it seems), the VLC log states that VDA couldn't be enabled.
After removing my Radeon HD 7850 and using the Intel HD 4600 with Clover's injection, I replayed the video and saw that VDA was working. Similarly, playing back videos using Adobe Flash Player in Firefox with the Intel GPU shows "accelerated video rendering" while the AMD GPU says "software video rendering".
So what I'm trying to figure out is how I can enable VDA without the Intel GPU. I have a feeling it's closely related to AGPM.next, and finding the proper SMBIOS definition to activate AGPM, but I've tried most of the definitions without luck.
