After succeeding with Chameleon I realised that I would need to switch to Clover for my iMessage to actually work.
I have been trying to troubleshoot with this new bootloader for me to dual boot Yosemite and Windows 8.1, but unlike with Chameleon, I haven't even managed to make Yosemite boot successfully without booting on the USB. Not that I can boot into Windows 8.1 either.
Problem 1: The typical kernel error that delivers the "System uptime in nanoseconds: *********". I've tried every single fix that I can find through google, including "NullCPUPowerManagement", "dart=0", "nv_disable=1", "slide=0", "FakeSMC" and disabling "emuvariable.efi" and "partitiondxe.efi" :/.
Problem 2: I can't seem to boot Windows 8.1 through the Clover bootloader. It just leaves me with a blinking underline in the left corner. I've tried changing the boot settings to Windows 8.1 and disabling the "safe boot" option. Adding the Ntfs.efi files to the "Drivers64" folder doesn't seem to change anything either.
I find the lack of progress in my troubleshooting quite frustrating, so if someone happened to know what would fix the issues, I would be really happy :I
