I'm thinking of upgrading my monitor to 1440p so was going to update my graphics card at the same time. I'm torn between the 970 and 290x. They're the same price.
I've always preferred nvidia but I think the 290x has more bang for the buck and will see me through longer than a 970.
Any thoughts appreciated.
