I just converted from Chameleon to Clover, using the guides available out there on the internet. Upon first boot I noticed that iMessage started to work. I noticed my computer is now reported as an iMac 27inch from late 2013, before it was reported as a Mac Pro, 2008

Any idea why iMessage would randomly start to work with no effort? Everything I've read out there involves spoofing a couple of real hardware ids, generating a serial number etc... My serial number has the word "HACK" in it according to about this mac, so I know its not unique by any means.
I guess I'm also curious if it means its just a matter of time before Apple bans my iCloud account or some other situation like that.
