Hey guys, I have some questions regarding a new hackintosh build for my friend
Q1: Is mac os x more ram hungry than windows?
I personally own a mba with 4gb ram, but the ram usage is a high as 95% with only 3 tabs and a word opened. So if I am building a new build for Photoshoping and videoediting on hackintosh, is it ok to use 8gb or 16gb ram?
Q2: Is usb 3.0 natively supported by Yosemite?
I am going to use a h97 motherboard for the build but I don't know if it is natively supported or not.
Q3: Is any brand of GPU works with hackintosh?
From what I have read in Tonymacx86, they only recommended EVGA Nvidia card. So I am wondering if other brand's Nvidia card works or not. And do AMD cards work at all?
Q4: Is this build ok for PS and videoediting?
If anyone has a better build for ~$600, feel free to post :D
