My hardware: Asus Z97 Deluxe Intel Core i7 4790k Samsung 850 Pro 256GB MSI GeForce GTX970

My software: UniBeast+MultiBeast install of OS X 10.10.2 nVidia web drivers

I updated to 10.10.3 last night via the combo update Rebooted, installed my audio and ethernet drivers via MultiBeast, applied a trim fix, put the new nVidia drivers in place Reapplied the fixes described at http://www.tonymacx86.com/user-builds/139870-success-asus-z97-pro-wi-fi-ac-core-i7-4790k-evga-gtx-760-a.html for WiFi and bluetooth Rebooted again

Before the upgrade, my WiFi would work at 5GHz with reliable speed Now, it only works at 2.4GHz, and it's slow and sometimes just outright quits on me

I tried replacing the 10.10.2 IO80211Family kext back in place, reapplying the wireless_half-mini-brcm4360-90_patch.command to both the old and the new kext, as well as manually patching the kext according to the wisdom at http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/292542-airport-pcie-half-mini/page-15 I also deleted the NetworkInterfaces.plist and rebooted

All to no avail.

Nothing works. My WiFi sometimes just outright quits on me, and even when it works it's ridiculously slow.

Is 10.10.3 and good WiFi a lost cause for me?
