Are the temperatures reported by tools like HWMonitor accurate?
I seem to remember reading that they cannot be relied on.
Got an Athlon II x4 640 sitting in an Asus Crosshair III Formula running over 90C at stock voltage (1.4V) running IBT.
If I manually drop the VCore to 1.2V it's still over 74C when AMD's spec says 71C Max
Cooler is an AMD stock all alloy cooler and is idling @ 33/34C
