Well, I have just ran into a problem. The other day, without even thinking, I tried to update iTunes, but then next thing I know OS X won't boot.
When I boot without verbose mode, it shows the apple logo for a couple of seconds, then reboots. With verbose mode, the last thing it shows is "Root device uuid is ....." then reboots instantly.
My main specs are:
Intel i5 4670k
XFX Radeon R9 290x
MSI z87-g41 pc mate
I know this isn't a video card problem because I have tried to boot with the r9 290x and with the integrated graphics. I have also tried some boot flags, like GraphicsEnabler=yes/no, USBBusFix=yes/no, and so on.
Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone know of a fix? Any help is greatly appreciated.
