Recently got my hackintosh working, and decided to try out FCP X. I ran it, and first impressions were good. It worked pretty well until i tried to import some video footage. It worked, but when i put my mouse over it to scrub through the video it went to the "eternal spinning beachball", and i had to close FCP from the dock. Tried an older version (10.1.2 as a pose 10.1.3) that i had sitting around, and still the same problem. My graphics card is an NVIDIA Geforce 8500, which i know isn't supported but seems to work for everything else. The clip played OK in QuickTime. Can this be fixed by using an NVIDIA GeForce 8800GTS? Or is there a software fix for this?
