As of today, I managed to get my Hackintosh up and running successfully with Clover and my retail copy of Yosemite.
Everything went smoothly, my graphics drivers are working great with the nVidia Web drivers, I have network and audio support, I've got a bunch of personal support software installed (VPN clients, Office 2011, etc...), and it seems stable as can be.
My only problem is that it seems to drop keystrokes. I am a fast typist (135+ WPM), and it seems like OS X doesn't detect some keystrokes, and I end up with a lot of letters missing. I've adjusted any keyboard rates I could find up to their fastest value, including some terminal hacks to move things along even faster than what System Preferences will let you set, but nothing works.
In the end, in seems like there is a delay between the actual pressing of a key, and when OS X realizes you pressed a key. It is very frustrating. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it something limited to Hackintoshes, or something that is a problem with Mac in general? Any solutions?
