Just received my RMA mobo from Newegg today. Spent hours installing and trying to get it to boot, but it just keeps shorting out. Everything else runs fine when the CPU isn't installed.

Last time I RMA'd my board, the pin array in the CPU socket had ~7 disfigured pins. They were much longer than other pins, and caused my CPU arm/enclosure to almost feel like it was going to snap apart from all the pressure I had to apply. Totally defective. So what happens today? The arm closes much, much easier, but there are even MORE long/disfigured pins when I run my fingers over them, and putting the CPU in there bent a quarter of them. Needless to say, the computer won't even boot.

Am I just having a string of bad luck, or does this board suck? It seems to be "the" board on Tonymac, so what gives? Should I look into another board, if so, recommendations? The board and chip are totally compatible (i5-4690k) so that isn't the issue.
