I've just got my hands on a Rosewill RC400-LX PCI ethernet card. I've plugged it in, installed the appropriate ktext with multibeast and the card seems to be working well!
The main reason for purchasing this instead of using the motherboard's onboard ethernet was to enable WoL.
I've managed to get futher than I did with the onboard ethernet port. Using the MAC address and the WakeMe app I can "kick" the machine and make it start waking up. I hear the hard drives coming on, everything's sounding good, then about a minute or so later the whole thing turns back off.
I'm also struggling to get to that point using TeamViewer, if anyone's got any experience getting their WoL working, I'd be interested to hear from you.
Any help would be appreciated!
