Hey all,
I'm the middle of creating the bootable USB needed to do all this. Recently I learnt that if I wanted to dual boot Windows with OSX I would have to format the harddrive to GUID then install OSX through clover and create a windows partition that way. I'm fine with that and will be doing that.
A few things in the clover configuration seem to be set up for MBR disks so I haven't used them but I just want to double check what I should be selecting for my build.
I have an old motherboard with a traditional BIOS so obviously I'm not selecting the Install for UEFI booting only.
In the bootloader, since I will be formatting to GUID I have checked Don't update MBR and PBR sectors, is this right?
Lastly, I checked this wiki about the "Drivers64" and most of the ones listed are not present for me to click and the others don't seem relevant to the OS or what I need, so I haven't checked any of them either. http://clover-wiki.zetam.org/What-is-what
(I assume I don't need to select anything in Drivers64UEFI because its for UEFI).
All of this is really just a double check because I have barely selected anything at all and want to make sure I haven't missed anything.
Here is a screenshot of what I have checked: https://i.imgur.com/zUlnixq.png
So in short, I'm installing this on my laptop, will be wiping the entire Windows OS and everything I have at the moment on the HDD, then I will format to GUID going through the OSX install, then create a partition for Windows after that and install windows on that, which hopefully Clover will pick up on after it's done for dual booting.
Appreciate any advice here you have thanks!
