Hi,
I saw a few people posting about this motherboard on different sites, but no one reporting successful builds, so I thought I'd stop lurking and post what (pretty much) worked for me.
I have Yosemite installed using clover on an asus h81m-plus, i5 4460 using integrated graphics, 8gb elixir ram, 128gb sandisk ssd (yosemite), 128gb samsung ssd (windows 8.1), 1tb hdd (windows data), and TP-Link TL-WDN4800
I pretty much followed tonymacx86's clover yosemite guide, but added in the "ASUS H81M-K (and other) DSDT + Clover Files" from hackintoshosx at the stages where you copy over files to efi/clover.
Everything worked fine initially, bar sound and graphics. Graphics were fixed by selecting "inject intel" on the clover graphics options, but NOT "inject EDID" too, as recommended on a few i5 4460/hd4600 guides, which caused it to not boot. It still goes through a weird phase just after the apple loading screen on boot, where the screen switches off and then the apple logo and loading bar splits up all over the screen, but it only lasts a second or two, then everything works fine.
I haven't figured out how to get sound to work yet, and most of the fixes I've tried (including multibeast - alc887 should be the right option here) causes it to fail to boot. I did a clean install to try and get the native applehda back in order to try the clover audio terminal command fix, but it still gives me 'no audio codec found' errors. I think part of the issue might be the included audio kext from the additional clover files download, so it might be worth not including that so you can run the clover fix command with the native applehda kext. However, everything works (including sleep) bar this, so I think I'm just going to buy a usb audio device.
I hope this helps anyone looking to work with this sort of set up, it's actually turned out to be a pretty cheap build. The computer I bought was £319 new from ebay and then the ssd and wifi card were not very much on top of that.
I also found clover to be really easy to use following the guide, and this was my first attempt at a build.
