I've been using AMD for the better part of a decade, and I know the troubles with that. Well, I got sick of all the things I can't do with AMD, and I built a pretty sweet Intel rig. E3 1231 v3 Xeon, 16GB of RAM... still went with AMD for the GPU, though. R9 280, 3GB.
This is my main rig, so while I wouldn't be opposed to building a dedicated Hackintosh at some point, down the line, when I've learned more about the process and the scene... Can I do this in a VM? I like VMWare, but VirtualBox just put out a major revision (5.0) so that might have fixed the things I didn't like (though, I can't recall what they were).
