Currently running 10.9, should I upgrade to 10.10 to go to 10.11 or go straight to 10.11 when it gets out?

I'm running 10.9 on my Hackintosh and I don't care for 10.10. But I want to get 10.11 when it gets out this fall.

Is it easier to upgrade from 10.9 to 10.10 to 10.11 or can I skip 10.10 and go from 10.9 to 10.11?
