Following a post I found via Google, my Gigabyte GA-Z97-D3H Hackintosh setup is working great with Yosemite. However, I'm getting some strange behavior with USB in general.
- I am using a USB DAC. It works great until I plug in a USB flash drive - when the USB drive is being read, my audio skips or stops.
- When I attempt to use Android File Transfer (an app offered by Google to allow MTP file transfer to/from an Android device) - my USB audio stops working. I need to reboot in order to get it to work again.
I tried using the USB 3.0 kext in Multibeast and that ended up breaking the install completely (-x wouldn't even work). Is this somehow related to xHCI/EHCI?
