I've bought a pre-build hackintosh from a friend, and im already super exited about it. Amazing speed and great performance. I do however have a few questions to fix the small issues i am having.
The Build:
ASUS P8P67 PRO B3 P67 S-1155 ATX
INTEL CORE I7 2600K 3.40GHZ 8MB S-1155
Corsair Hydro H100 CPU Water Cooler
CORSAIR 8GB DDR3 XMS3 VENGEANCE PC3-12800 1600MHZ CL9 (2X4GB)
Cooler Master V Series V1200 Platinum
WD RED 3.5" 1TB SOHO NAS SATA/600 64MB
GTX 560
(I've just bought a SSD as well)
Issue 1: Bluetooth
The motherboard has an onboard bluetooth receiver, but i cannot seem to get it working so that i can use a magic mouse & keyboard. Do i really need a USB dongle, or can i somehow enable it on my motherboard.
Issue 2: (Please fix this)
Can it really be true that i cannot use SLI on OSX? I have two grahpics cards that are in SLI, and i can boot without any issues in OSX. but it would like to be able to actually use both cards in OSX. Is that possible?
Issue (questions)3:
My plan is to install OSX on an SSD i bought today, and get another WD RED 3.5 to run in Raid. Then partition that virtual drive 50/50 - half for OSX files (audio, video) and half for installing windows. Does this sound like a good plan, or should i skip Raid and simply use one hdd for osx files, and the second one for windows. (or maybe get a new 7200 RPM drive. Im not sure if the WD RED 3.5 is 5400 or 7200. It sais "Intellipower"
