So firstly, I do not have a Mac and nor do I have access to one. So the guides involving Unibeast are unfortunately not something I cannot follow.
I have taken a.. um.. so called Bootable DMG Yosemite file, used Transmac to "restore" to USB. Went well.
Plugged it into the Laptop and all I get is "Operation System Not Found" (can't believe BIOS has a spelling error).
I tried another USB stick, thinking it wasn't compatible and got the same message. I can boot Linux and Windows from USB just fine, however.
Also worth mentioning is that I've updated my BIOS to the latest A12. Something tells me though, that this isn't a UEFI bios and the options are pretty well locked and hidden away from the menu. There is the whole option for unlocking the bios, but I rather not turn my $2300 laptop (that's the price after having purchased year over year accidental damage protection) intoa toaster is I brick my BIOS.
It's also worth mentioning that when I plug that sucker into my AMD desktop machine, I see the clover boot menu. Sad because AMD isn't supported, nor do I want OSX on my desktop rig.
I've searched online and they all talk about Unibeast. Is there something I can do in my position or is it a total lost cause?
