I'm using the MacPro 3,1 definition on my Haswell-based system, and everything is mostly working great (only a very occasional thing where the system will reboot instead of waking from sleep).
It looks like 3,1 implies an old CPU (LGA755). If things are working as they are, is there any advantage in changing it to a recent definition (I.E. a Haswell iMac)?
