Hi guys

About a month ago I bought a new gaming PC (parts list), assembled it myself and have been enjoying the heck out of it through Windows, but decided to start hackintoshing today.

I already have done one successful hack, but that was with Chameleon/Tonymac tools.

During my initial research I read over and over that it'd be easier for noobs to do the chameleon route, while Clover required some more knowledge. So here I am now, after following rampagedev's fantastic clover tutorial and Yosemite 10.10.4 is installed and doesn't seem to have any issues like crashing or anything.

Also of note, I used both the Asus GENE and HERO NVIDIA SSDT's contained in rampagedev's Haswell.dmg, neither of which made a difference.

The main obstacle now is the nvidia drivers. I downloaded the latest one (346.02.02f03) and installed it successfully, but even after selecting NVIDIA Drivers repeatedly in Sys prefs, it still goes back to the Apple ones. When using nvda_drv=1, it simply gets to a point, spins down the fans, waits a few seconds, then spins them back up to reboot. In verbose mode the last entry contains IOUSBCOMPOSITEDRIVER, then reboots itself.

I can boot fine using Integrated graphics and with nv_disable=1.

Can anyone help me out here?
