HI all!

First off I never knew this sub existed, after all my years of lurking then finally making an account, so this is great! :D

2nd, my first Hackintosh was a Dell laptop, I need OSx for school to program apps, xcode, etc. It was OSx 10.9 and Win7, and UEFI..from what I recall...

Fast forward to last Wends...Win 10 day. I tried it, I didn't like it, not a big fan of 8 to begin with. So I decided, why not make my desktop a Hackintosh? I've already got the hang of it, and I know my mobo specs are floating out and about...let's give it a whirl!

So, 6 days later, I have what I feel is a broken install.

I have an SSD, GUID partition, dual boot on the same drive, OSx and Win7. Somehow i managed to fuck up my bios and/or (most likely) boot sectors in the SSD because I cannot install Win 7, DVD or USB, Legacy or UEFI anymore on that drive. So, I'm stuck with 8.1

Now, here's my biggest bitch, I have to boot from a USB to get access to Win8 and OSx. Everytime I put the bootload on the SSD with the OS's, either in the Mac partition, or the EFI partition, it won't load Win8. Using Chameleon, then I read about how it won't work well with UEFI ya gotta use Clover.

So, I make a Yosemitie USB boot with Clover. I can't get the damn thing to pull the kext from the USB drive. I keep getting the power management and every guide and tool I've read, I've installed the nullpower on on the USB drive, make sure the config was set just so, ugh.

None the less, it's a pain in the ass, but fun and worth it.

I have more work to do to clean this up, I'd like to not boot from USB and boot from the SSD and be able to access both OS's without issues. UEFI all the way would be nice, but I'll take what I can get!

Y'all keep hackin away! :D
