Hello, this is my second Hackintosh machine I'm trying to put together. The first one was done probably over 5 years ago on an ASUS Laptop with Leopard.
A lot of things have changed since then, just did my fair share of research on unibeast, multibeast, pandoras box, yosemite zone, etc.
Unibeast doesn't work at all, cant boot into the installation screen. Same with Yosemite Zone. (Yosemite zone is simply a dmg image thats supposed to be written directly to the USB, it's supposed to have what Unibeast already puts onto the drive)
However, i AM able to boot into the installation screen (even tho the graphics are shitty) when I follow this video tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIJsG_KbOCY
So basically, I have taken an AMD Processor version of Yosemite installer dmg, wrote it directly to my 8gb flash drive with Carbon Copy Cloner, then i ran Chameleon 2.3 and installed the bootloader unto a separate flash drive.
On my PC, I boot into Chameleon, and select the OS X installer. I format the hard disk to a GUID partition table with mac os journaled. BUT when i run the installer, I can't seem to bypass 12 minutes. I left it installing overnight last night.
When i check the installer log, I noticed it hasn't changed. It's been Extracting /system/installation/packages/essentials.pkg the entire time.
I've already tried -f -x -s -v kext-dev-mode=1 GraphicsEnabler=Y (also tried =N) & dart=0
If anyone could please point me in the proper direction, or lend me a hand, that would be great, here's my PC Specs: AMD V Series V120 (2.20GHz) 2GB Memory 250GB HDD ATI Radeon HD 4250 1366 x 768 Resolution
