Hello Hackintosh community,

today I have decided to finally properly install OS X on my PC. After many failed attempts I will try to get it working now.

I have used this tutorial to create a bootable OS X Yosemite USB. And will also be using it to install the OS. After installing I will be using these settings in MultiBeast I got from this build. (Specs down below)

Now my worry is, I quote:

First thing to do is load BIOS version 1205. Then load Optimized Defaults, and set Boot > Secure Mode > Other OS. Then save and reboot.

My BIOS version is 0604 (first one released). Will I need to update my BIOS to make OS X work? I don't like to update my BIOS because it poses a risk to brick my motherboard. Should I try without updating it?

Does everything look OK from what I said above? Should I do something else or something not? Also, as I have a SSD, does OS X/MultiBeast have TRIM support? Love to hear from you.
