A friend of mine want's a top of the line workstation for photo and video editing. He's a professional photographer and is currently thinking of buying the new 5k imac with literally everything maxed (holy hell expensive). I told him he could get a much better hackintosh and an EIZO monitor for less. I haven't installed hackintosh on a machine in 5 years or so and I've fallen out of touch with it. Could someone here help me with a build? I'm thinking at the very least the new skylake i7 with noctua NH-D14, probably a high end ASUS motherboard if they are compatible with hackintosh, 32gb of ram, GPU maybe not so important but something like a GTX 970 is probably fine (no gaymz). Although it occurs to me that maybe a Xeon based machine might be in the picture also if supported.
