When I setup Yosemite, I thought that MultiBeast runs were iterative. I didn't understand that each run with different options adds more and more kexts.
As a result, I have a working system but I have useless kexts and the system can't powercycle/poweroff by itself (I have to hit reset or long press power to turn off the computer after the system has shut down).
So I went on a mission, booted in safe mode and deleted all the kexts I selected over my many iterations. Now the Hackintosh won't make it into OS X.
Luckily I have a backup which I restored from.
How should I go about pruning useless kexts? What is the minimal set of kexts I need to run OS X and then install only the additional ones I need via MultiBeast?
